Accommodation at Bicheno Hideaway situated right on the ocean at Bicheno, in Tasmania, Australia and surrounded by six acres of bushland with an abundance of native wildlife. The Chalets offer you a most enchanting home away from home. You can borrow books, snorkeling gear, fishing lines etc.

The Bicheno Hideaway Boathouse has undergone a winter renovation. It now comprises a king size bedroom with ensuite toilet; two queen size bedrooms; a bunkroom sleeping two and new kitchen with Tasie oak benchtops. The spacious living area decorated in a maritime theme looks out onto a private deck with garden and ocean views. A barbeque is provided on the deck for al fresco dining. The king bedroom also has its own deck. The Boathouse which sleeps eight is ideal for family and group bookings.

Chalet 1 is positioned in a private location on ocean frontage bushland with spectacular views. It comprises a four poster style queen size bed in the main living area and separate twin bedroom. Chalets Two and Three are positioned in a private location on ocean frontage bushland with spectacular views. Chalet Two includes a queen size bedroom, bunkroom sleeping three and living and dining area and is suitable for families. Chalet Three comprises one queen size bedroom, bathroom and living area. Situated at the end of the driveway, it is the most private of our Chalets and popular with honeymoon couples. Chalet Four is set back in landscaped bushland with excellent ocean views from your own private deck. It comprises two queen size bedrooms; spacious living and dining area with flame effect heater and bathroom. The largest of our four Chalets, it is suitable for two couples.

A gentle ten minute stroll along a signed walking track will take you to a pristine private beach with good swimming and snorkelling conditions. We have a variety of wildlife including possums, bandicoots, wombats and wallabies and our star guest Bob, a handreared Bennett wallaby that comes our to be fed at dusk. There is an orchard and duckpond housing Muscovy ducks, bantams and bantam ducks.
