Welcome to The Bloedel Reserve, Bainbridge Island, United States. The Bloedel Reserve comprises approximately 150 acres on Bainbridge Island Washington, where it is blessed by the mild, moist climate of Puget Sound. About 84 acres of the Reserve is second growth forest. The remainder are altered landscapes, including various gardens, ponds and meadows.
The Reserve was once the home of the Bloedel Family, which is primarily responsible for its growth and development. The vision of the Bloedels is now interpreted and extended by the Arbor Fund.
The primary purpose of the Bloedel Reserve is to provide people with an opportunity to enjoy nature through quiet walks in the gardens and woodlands. To accomplish this, we require reservations and limit hourly attendance to ensure that every visitor has a tranquil, uncrowded experience.
