Brixham Archers, United Kingdom, was formed in 1969 and is probably the largest of three Archery clubs located in Torbay.
Brixham Archers support both target and field Archery and regularly host open tournaments (indoor, outdoor, and field).
Brixham Archers have a range of membership representing male and female from about 8 years old well into retirement.
Degrees of skill vary from beginners level to "county squad standard".
Membership of Brixham Archers includes social membership of the Cricket Club which entitles the members to use their Club House facilities.
The alternative Target Archery site is at Churston, adjacent to the Grammar School. Brixham Archers are fortunate to be able to use this field at any time of the week, as long as the usual safety regulations are observed.
All ages, sexes and abilities are encouraged to come and try. The Brixham Archers courses are run in a safe but informal manner with the emphasis on you enjoying this great sport.
Beginners who join the club are able to continue to use the club equipment until they are ready to purchase their own.
Brixham Archers emphasise that you do not buy equipment until you have some experience and have talked to a qualified club coach or senior club member.
