The Cafecito has become the place where "The Elite Meet". And since nobody wants to be left out of that crowd this establishment seems to always be busy. There are actually two Restaurants next to each other, one is El Cafecito and the other is Restaurant Cafecito. El Cafecito was the first of the two and is a coffee bar more or less. It was so popular that Carmen and Dan bought the business next door and made it a full Restaurant to complement the coffee bar. Now both places work in unison. If you order a croissant in the Restaurant they will run across and grab one from the cafe. I suppose it works the other way around as well. In the mornings both places are a meeting place or a place to people watch or just a place to grab a quick coffee, OJ, or croissant or you can sit and have a wonderful breakfast. They offer almost anything you would expect at a breakfast spot and the service is the fastest in Puerto Escondido.
