Our establishment is situated in the Southern Suburb region of the Cape Peninsula and equi-distant (i.e. 18kms) from Cape Town, Simons Town and Hout Bay. Located on the banks of a 7sq km lake it forms an integral part of the Zeekoevlei and Rondevlei Nature Reserves.
A shady viewing platform lends itself to peace and quiet, from which the pelicans, coots, moorhens, herons, cormorants, egrets, sacred ibis, the various duck species and the wide variety of smaller birds can be studied.
The accommodation consists of the entire upstairs portion of our house with its own private external entrance. The living area comprises a double room, double bed, TV, radio, bics and a kitchen with fridge, microwave and all the necessary utensils for Self Catering. Bathroom en- suite.
The balcony overlooks a saltwater plunge pool and a magnificent view of the lake towards the north and east.
The ambience is undoubtedly conducive to restfulness, peace and tranquillity and away from the hussle and bussle of the smog polluted city.
