Castello Di Peschici in Peschici, Foggia, Italy rises above a high rock overlooking the sea, and it was built by the Normans between the tenth and eleventh centuries, it served to defend the lands from attacks and raids by the Saracens and pirates, even the monks of Tremiti abbeys originally resurfaced in the Castle. There is a long and interesting history going back to the reign of Frederick II with the construction of the tower, and further strengthened over time, the Castle has been restored and modified over the centuries and was even owned by rich bourgeois in the beginning of the nineteenth century.
