Welcome to Catacombs Pub in Spokane, United States. Located in the cellar of the historic Montvale Hotel, Catacombs Pub combines great food with old-world architecture, making for an unforgettably unique dining experience. The exposed stone, solid oak beams (each weighing 2800 pounds!) and warm brick hearth are features modeled after the finest German and Viennese Pubs. The food at Catacombs Pub reflects the cuisine styles from Central Europe including Austria, Germany, Hungary and Italy.
Catacombs Pub has been recognized by the Pacific Northwest Inlander as Spokane's best new restaurant.
Catacombs Pub is the premier location for live music, beer and wine. The Old World atmosphere, European dishes and top-notch wines and beers at Catacombs Pub are a winning combination.
Catacombs Pub is located in what was once the Montvale Hotel's boiler room. Coal was brought into the building through the coal chute, which is now the "cave" seating area on the Pub's east end. The coal was then shoveled into the boiler, which was located where the brick oven now stands. The old iron doors from the original boiler can be seen at Kafka Coffee House in Cheney.
