Welcome to Courtyard Cottages set in a charming courtyard, on a working dairy farm at the foot of Walla Crag, Keswick,  in the heart of the Lake District in the United Kingdom.

Courtyard Cottages, a former dairy and byre,  have recently undergone renovation to create three self-contained cottages offering quality accommodation. All cottages are on one level and are centrally heated.

With wonderful views and the gentle flow of Brockle Beck running alongside Courtyard Cottages, this idyllic location is the perfect retreat for walkers, cyclists and families alike.  Plenty of walks and cycle routes from the doorstep make Courtyard Cottages the ideal base for a holiday.

There is ample parking to leave the car and take a ten minute stroll into Keswick. A secure covered area is available for storage of bicycles.

A small farm shop is open at Courtyard Cottages for general provisions. Other facilities including a large orchard and laundry facilities are also available.   Courtyard Cottages is available for short breaks.  All cottages are non smoking and children are welcome.   Well behaved dogs are allowed by arrangement. 

All heat, light and linen are included.

The Old Dairy, the largest of the cottages sleeps up to six people, the two bedroomed cottage is on one level and is oil centrally heated and is also double glazed throughout. A separate fully fitted kitchen with electric oven hob and microwave, fridge, freezer and non-slip flooring. The living / dining area has a large table which comfortably seats six people. TV/DVD and CD/radio players are provided and soft seating for upto six people. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, toilet and wash-hand basin. A non-slip floor is fitted here.

Castlehead is a comfortable, small cottage which happily accommodates two people, a double bedroom overlooks Brockle Beck and the surrounding meadows and mountains with the spire of St. John's church visible in the near distance. The cottage comprises a well equipped fully fitted kitchen, dining and living area. TV/DVD and CD/radio are provided along with comfortable seating. A shower, wash-hand basin and WC with non-slip flooring complete the cottage which is on one level. The cottage is fully oil centrally heated and double glazed.
