Welcome to the Embassy of the Philippines, Beijing, China. The Philippines and China established diplomatic relations on 9 June 1975 with the signing of a Joint Communiqué by leaders of the two countries. Since then, bilateral relations between the two countries have developed steadily and multi-dimensionally.
Both countries have maintained frequent high level contacts and exchanges of visits at all levels in various sectors. Both sides also have consultation and dialogue mechanisms which have contributed to the enhancement of cooperation and the level of mutual trust and confidence.

The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Philippines, Beijing, is open from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. The Consular Section also offers 24-hour emergency service to Filipino nationals in distress.
Filipino citizens living in Beijing and other parts of Northern China, as well as Mongolia or DPRK, are encouraged to register with the Consular Section of the Philippine Embassy in Beijing.
Filipinos living in other parts of China may register with any Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong, Xiamen, Guangzhou or Shanghai, closest to their areas of residence.
