finn's the original concept was established eight years ago in polzeath on the beautiful cornish coast line.
the seafood wasn't your ordinary battered cod it had clean tastes and fresh uncomplicated flavours. the food was a picture on a plate, but only in the sense that what you saw, was what you ate. no frills or artifice got in the way.
this food imposed discipline in uncomplicated presentation for its beauty is in its natural austerity: a lobster simply dressed with olive oil and a rub of chilli, a skewer of monkfish and king prawns chargrilled to perfection or a plate of fresh scallops just pan fried is perfect. finn's believes that all that is on the plate is to be eaten.
this concept was commonly known as "sexy fish & chips"
wine? simply a choice of red or white! no merlot, chardonnay or shiraz from the new world or old, just red or white!
