Welcome to The Galleon Inn in Fowey, Cornwall in the United Kingdom. For a drink or meal you are always assured of a warm Cornish welcome at The Galleon Inn.
Occupying one of the prime sites in Fowey, Cornwall, The Galleon Inn a bright, spacious and immaculately appointed riverside village Pub is perfectly situated with its own river frontage, affording leafy views of the river estuary, far bank, and passing ships and yachts, creating a wealth of interest for those with time to browse.
The Galleon Inn history is reputed to be as much as 400 years old and started life as a quayside warehouse before it was operated for many years as a tied house, but since being acquired by its current owners it has become an extremely popular free house boasting a wide range of bar food, with fish being a speciality, vegetarian options and a range of traditional real ales, keg beers, ciders and stouts. We have now introduced a weekly Guest Ale which proves popular with the locals, wishing to give the numerous local breweries a taste.
At The Galleon Inn we host live music from many different local bands every Friday night throughout the winter from 9pm and the galleon becomes full of life every Sunday lunchtime, where the local jazz band plays whilst you tuck in to a great traditional roast lunch.
