The Gatekeepers Cottage is a new addition to Monticello's accommodation. It is a beautifully appointed two bedroom, two bathroom Cottage with a state-of-the art kitchen with everything for the serious cook, even a herb garden. There is also a separate laundry. The lounge is perfect for that relaxed evening in front of the fire with a good movie or or a dvd/cd from Monticello's eclectic library. You can bring your own music library and listen through the MP3 player adaptor. Wireless internet is also available.
The Cottage can accommodate up to six people. The queen room downstairs with a deep window seat overlooking the garden has a bathroom suitable for disabled access. There is a double sofa bed in a separate sitting room. Upstairs, there is King/twin room, made up of two king single beds. With beautiful rural and garden views from the deck this is truly a romantic room with luxuriously appointed bathroom with a bath for two.
A gourmet breakfast basket is supplied for the first day.
Bellingen, New South Wales, has so much to offer its visitors. In the warmer months you may wish to take canoe on the Bellinger River. There are half day or day tours taking you through pristine waterways. Not to be missed if you feel so inclined.
