GREMM or the Group for Research and Education on Marine Mammals in Tadoussac, Quebec, Canada is a non-profit organisation dedicated to education, marine conservation and the scientific research on the whales of the St. Lawrence river. Whales having complex social lives and a life expectancy close to humans are monitored from generation to generation, and GREMM enters their universe and follows them underwater to unravel their mysteries using a long term approach and cutting edge technologies, they also offer training and guidance to master's and Ph.D. students. The Marine Mammal Interpretation Centre or CIMM is a very popular museum offering an unforgettable experience, where the world of whales is explored from the videos to the skeleton collection and much more. GREMM established the Quebec Marine Mammal Emergency Response Network and are dedicated to the protection of whales, organizing, coordinating and implementing measures aimed at reducing accidental mortality of marine mammals, rescuing marine mammals in difficulty, and facilitating the acquisition of data from dead animals, they welcome all donations, so help their cause with an on-line donation today.
