Welcome to Hotsprings Valley Retreat, Whitehorse, Canada. Groups looking for a quiet get-away place will find the Takhini Hot Springs Retreat Centre is the perfect place to hold their event. The Retreat Centre, Whitehorse is an independently owned and operated facility providing both accommodation and workshop/meeting space. Nestled in a quiet pasture surrounded by woods and rocky hillsides, the workshop and dining hall is in a rustic barn that’s been converted into a bright welcoming space.
The Hotsprings Valley Retreat Centre has overnight accommodation for 22 people (double occupancy) in luxury wall-tent cabins. The wall-tent cabins are modeled on the canvass homes of the early prospectors looking for gold. Traditional wall-tents were quicker to put up than cabins and easier to move when pulling up stakes. Today’s wall-tent cabins at the Hotsprings Valley Retreat Centre are reminiscent of the Gold Rush, though insulation and electric heat promises you a more comfortable stay than the prospectors faced!
The workshop building has room for 50 to 60 people. There are dining facilities, bathrooms with showers and high-speed internet hook-ups. The setting is secluded and inspirational, but only a 5-minute walk from the hot spring pools.
