Come visit the fascinating Huron Lightship Museum in Port Huron, Michigan the last lightship on the Great Lakes which is open to the public from April through Mid December. Lightships were like floating Lighthouses always anchored where it was too deep for a Lighthouse, and the Huron Lightship was stationed at various shoals on Lake Michigan.
