In December 2008, Julia's Arts opened a working studio as part of the gallery.
Local artists will be at work in the studio during event weekends and during the week. Workshops and community art projects will be offered.
Julia?s Arts opened in November of 2005 in Matlacha, Florida, and started out exhibiting the artwork of just 5 local artists. Now, just over two years later, Julia?s Arts has blossomed into a small gallery representing over 50 local artists and a few artists from out-of-state. Among the artwork featured at Julia's Arts are the acrylic & mixed media paintings of gallery owner, Julia Morris. Julia?s Arts exhibits artwork of many different styles and media, from original oil paintings (very realistic in style) to abstract ceramic sculpture, not to mention some very stunning creations of wearable art, including but not limited to hand-painted silk clothing designs and hand-crafted silver jewelry.
