Your hosts, Marj, and well-known fly fishing guide, Tony, always look forward to sharing their piece of paradise and do their best to help you enjoy your stay. Kawhaka Lodge has been purpose built by fishermen for fishermen. With some of the most scenic fishing available in New Zealand, and many close rivers, lakes and spring creeks, guests are welcome to take advantage of Tony's years of experience and local knowledge, whilst Marj is always on hand to organise an itinerary of local activities for guests if required.
After exploring the many wonders of the region, enjoy hot nibbles in front of the comforting log fire burning in the main living room. Home grown and fresh local cuisine is always on the menu.
