Lucerne On Fernberg is a heritage listed property, established between 1859 and 1862 and believed to be the oldest privately owned residence in Brisbane, Queensland.  The property was named "Lucerne" after the town and lake in Switzerland.
Lucerne On Fernberg is dominated by several large trees, including a Fig estimated to be over 150 years old.   We continue to re-plant the gardens in the cottage style evident in early photographs of "Lucerne".
The refurbished "coach-house"comprises a queen-size bedroom, sitting room (with home theatre system), bathroom and kitchenette.   The cottage has similar facilities to the coach house and is also accessible by wheelchair and suitable for persons with limited mobility.
Lucerne On Fernberg is within easy walking distance of Suncorp Stadium and the restaurants of Park Rd and Rosalie, less than 3km to Queen St and centrally located to Brisbane Grammar School and hospitals.
