An historic waterfront planter's residence located in the village of Public Landing, Snow Hill. The property overlooks a broad expanse of Chincoteague Bay with Assateague Island in the distance. Built around 1835 the house is logled in the National Register of Historic Places by the Maryland National Trust.
The Mansion House: The four Guest Rooms in the Mansion House are uniquely decorated with just the right combination of comfort and style, all with private bath, fireplace, queen bed and Swedish Pressure Relieving Mattress. Most rooms with picturesque water view. The Mansion House has central air conditioning and hot water heat for year round comfort.
Ocean View: A waterfront room with queen poster bed, private bath with tub and shower, working fireplace and view of the bay from four windows.
Blue Heron: Water view to the north with Shaker queen poster bed, private bath with tub and shower, and working fireplace.
Atlantic: A waterfront room with queen Victorian bed, private bath with shower and seat, two dormer windows facing the bay.
Spence: On the sunset side of the house with queen spool bed, private bath with roll top soaking tub and shower.
Sunset Cottage on Paw Paw Creek (The Mary Fell House - Sleeps 4): Sunset Cottage is two blocks from the main house. It is surrounded by Cypress trees and has a wonderful view of Paw Paw Creek and the Chincoteague Bay. The screened porch is a great place to relax and you can watch the sunset from our private dock. The perfect place for families. The Cottage has two bedrooms and one and a half baths, washer/dryer, full kitchen, dining room and large living room with working fireplace.
The first bedroom has a queen bed and half bath. The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be moved together. The queen sofa bed in the living room allows additional sleeping arrangements. Breakfast in the Mansion House dining room is optional.
