Mortensen Riverfront Plaza in Hartford, Connecticut, is a spectacular, landscaped Park that has been providing fun and enjoyable Outdoor Activities to suit all ages, since its opening to the public in 1999. At the edge of the river the Park features a stage for Live Entertainment and various performances, and up to 2500 visitors can sit on surrounding grassy terraces. Our Park also has walking and biking trails, playgrounds, picnic areas, rowing programs, yoga, football fields, and many more Outdoor Activities. Riverfront Recapture, a private organization, is responsible and also manages the Mortensen Riverfront Plaza to provide the public with a great Park where all ages can relax and enjoy activities in the outdoors.
