The NC Underwater Archaeology Center Branch of the North Carolina Division of Historical Resources operates this small Museum with exhibits on dive sites and maritime history dating from prehistoric to the Civil War and the present, located in Kure Beach, North Carolina in the United States.

Dive Down adventures:
Looking for the ultimate Blackbeard experience? The Friends of Queen Anne's Revenge is proud to offer QAR Dive Down, DiveFlagan exciting 2-day program for certified SCUBA divers. Because the wreck is a restricted archaeological site, diving the QAR is only available through this unique program. Participants will hear from scientists and archaeologists in a five-part lecture series designed to convey the historical, archaeological, geological, and ecological significance of QAR. In addition to breakfast and lunch daily, participants are treated to dinner at one of Morehead City's best restaurants, followed by dessert and coffee served alongside a presentation by colonial historian, Dr. Lindley Butler. On the second day, participants receive an extended briefing on The QAR Shipwreck Project and have the hands-on opportunity to pan for gold and other small artifacts before heading to the NC Maritime Museum to see the Blackbeard exhibit. The program concludes with a coveted dive on the Queen Anne's Revenge.

Cannons, pewter plates, ceramics, gold flakes, and even an underwater replica are only some of the highlights of these exciting Queen Anne's Revenge exhibits. As our infamous captain spent considerable time on the eastern seaboard, also listed are locales with historical affiliations with Blackbeard as well as a calendar of upcoming presentations by QAR historians and archaeologists in Kure Beach.
