The rooms at the Historic Old Coast Hotel have a flair for the past, but with modern conveniences. Some of our rooms have fireplaces, some overlook a beautiful garden, and some have distant ocean views. Each room has a delightful character all its own. The brass beds, old-world lighting fixtures, and cosy quilts welcome visitors to a good night's sleep.
Different things to do in the area are mostly within walking distance of the hotel and offer a variety of activities, such as horseback riding, scuba diving and snorkeling, canoeing and kayaking, golf, hiking trails, or walks highlighting the beautiful Mendocino coast. The Hotel provides an excellent base from which to explore the area. There are five state parks within fifteen miles of the hotel, as well as the renown Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens. The Mendocino Coast is becoming well known for its exquisite wines and some wineries even offer tours.
