Potwallopers Restaurant, Westward Ho! is named after the famous Potwalloping Festival which takes place every year at the end of May.
The tradition continues to this day, that after the rough seas of the winter and spring, the people of Westward Ho! throw back pebbles from the famous pebble ridge to the sea that have been cast over to Northam Burrows on the other side of the barrier.
