Red Poles Cafe, Art Gallery, Bed and Breakfast has successfully combined a fully licensed café, Art Gallery and B&B under one roof in McLaren Vale in South Australia.

Opening in 2005 in its McLaren Vale Wine Region location it has already won Best New Business in the South Australia region. Situated in the middle of a vineyard and on the tourist drive, Red Poles Cafe, Art Gallery, Bed and Breakfast is the ideal location in the South Australia Wine Region to spend a casual lunch, a lazy afternoon or a short holiday.

Private functions are welcome and the ambient surroundings provide the perfect setting for a wedding. Regular workshops in many mediums encourage you to tap into your artistic side.

Live music is a regular feature every Sunday and cabarets once a month on a Saturday night have become the latest venture in the continuing merging of visual and performing arts with fine food.

The Art Gallery hosts a new exhibition every six weeks. These exhibitions may involve one or more artist working in all kinds of mediums, ranging from painting, printmaking, sculpture, jewellery and glass. Visitors are welcome to tour the artist's space and talk with them about their work.

A fine selection of artists work is on display in the café and any piece that catches your eye is available for sale. The beauty of Red Poles is matched by the exquisite work on the walls and in the display cabinets.

The Southern Vales are not just about wine. Stretching from the ranges to the sea, there is much to see and do. It's a magnificent area to visit for more than just a day, an ideal location for a B&B.

At Red Poles, rooms are available for overnight stays or short holidays. The guest accommodation is set in a picturesque quadrangle around a tranquil garden and water feature over looking the vineyards. The rooms are light and airy, whilst retaining a cosy feel, and modern amenities ensure that your stay is extremely comfortable.

Set in an ambience of vines and natural bushland. Red Poles is open Wed to Sun 9-5pm with Brekky available on weekends from 9.30-11am. Red Poles chef Nat Wilson offers a delicious selection of local and imported produce, at reasonable prices. The ever-changing menu is a delight, enjoy the quiet surroundings and sample the wines for which the Southern Vales are renowned. Live music every Sunday is a special feature.

Red Poles hosts a range of artist's workshops utilising the unique work area and equipment of the gallery. The workshop classes are for both adults and children.
