Reserve Restaurant Maleny is the Sunshine Coast Hinterland's newest fine dining restaurant located 7km from Maleny. This intimate, fifty two seat restaurant, housed in a 1970's reproduction colonial Queenslander is a result of the combined efforts of Sommelier Steve Heffernan and Chef Kieran Reekie. Since its opening in April 2007 Reserve Restaurant Cellar was awarded a star rating in the 2008 Courier Mail Food and Wine Guide.

Reserve Restaurant’s main dining room is comfortable, warm and intimate yet stylish, from the polished timber poles and high backed leather dining chairs to the crystal glassware and soft candlelight.

Chef Kieran Reekie heads the stoves with a no nonsense approach to modern cookery.

Passionate about taste, the flavour sequences are kept simple so as not to confuse the palate.

A fondness of traditional methods, an eye for detail and a love for beautiful ingredients make for dishes that are challenging yet approachable.

Steve Heffernan’s wine knowledge comes from 18 years experience in the Melbourne, Australia restaurant scene and the wine list reflects this.

The cellar is an ever growing and sometimes all consuming foundation for Reserve.
