Welcome to Sidmouth Folk Week, held in Sidmouth, United Kingdom. If you’ve been to Sidmouth Festival before, you’ll know all about having a whole week filled with music, singing, dancing, pub sessions, workshops, concerts, storytelling, cream teas, lying on the beach, Late Night Extra, and sitting up late on the campsite.
If you’ve never been, think of Sidmouth Folk Week as more like a collection of small festivals in the same place at the same time, with something for everyone and a very friendly feel to it compared with some big festivals.
The Sidmouth Folk Week Festival couldn’t happen without its team of enthusiastic volunteer stewards. In return for up to five hours work a day you get a season ticket, and that incomparable feeling of being at the heart of things. There are opportunities for people with all kinds of skills, interests and abilities, and any number of different roles, including ticket checking, venue management, car parking, sales and administration.
There are many opportunities for businesses to support Folk Week, from simply advertising in the programme or newsletter, to sponsoring an Event, an artist or a venue, or just making a donation. We welcome your innovative ideas and will do our best to help you get the best value from them.
As a member you will get a poster to display at your premises so Festival visitors can see you are supporting us, your logo or business name on the cover of the working programme and on the website, and an invitation to the opening concert.
