Some of the most rugged and beautiful scenery in North America is just a few minutes away from South Lake Tahoe. And one of the best ways to get deep into that backcountry experience is on a guided Snow MobileTour. We have tours for families, folks who have never been on a snowmobile before, adventurous enthusiasts, and for expert riders. Because of our high-elevation terrain, we have one of the longest snowmobile seasons around, typically lasting from November to April. Our Snow MobileTour includes the use of late-model Arctic Cat machines, boots, gloves, helmets, and goggles, and complimentary shuttle transportation from our tour center in Meyers to base camp in Hope Valley. Warm snowmobile suits are available to rent for ten dollars each. Reservations are required for all Snow Mobile Tour. Drivers must be at least 15 years old. Children five and under ride free with a parent. Or, for a small charge, they can ride in a specially designed passenger sled towed behind a snowmobile by one of our guides. Sowmobiling in Lake Tahoe is a must for the whole family!
