SunRay Cottage in Muizenberg, Cape Town, South Africa | Cottage and Cabins

SunRay Cottage provides comfortable accommodation for four people. It consists of a bathroom, bedroom with twin beds, and a spacious open-plan living area with a double sleeper couch.

The kitchen is fully equipped; linen and bath towels are provided.

There is a shady garden in front of the cottage which has its own sea-facing terrace and braai (barbecue.)

A three minute stroll to the beach brings you to the glorious tidal pool for totally safe swimming. There are numerous rock pools to investigate as well - a child's paradise!

For the adventurous, Danger Bay right next to St. James' beach attracts some intrepid surfers.

It's ten minutes along the boardwalk to the beautiful Muizenberg beach with its flat, hard sands, moderate waves and safe swimming.

Kalk Bay - a short walk in the opposite direction - is an old and thriving fishing village with its picturesque harbour and fresh fish for sale as it comes from the sea. Interaction with the fisherfolk is part of the fun. Shopping in Kalk Bay is delightful with its charming coffee shops, art and potters' galleries, antique and curio shops.

A five minute walk up the mountain behind SunRay Cottage brings you onto the Silvermine Nature Reserve where you can walk in tranquility for miles exploring the Muizenberg and Kalk Bay Mountains, or, if you are a keen hiker, across the Peninsula to Noordhoek.
