Te Mata Cheese is Hawke’s Bay’s very own artisan Ceese factory in the heart of Wine Country.  Our artisan Cheese Factory and The Cheese Cafe sits in green fields at the foothills of the majestic Te Mata Peak, the perfect rural setting for the creation of specialty Cheese.

Visit us in Havelock North - we're open daily from 10am to 4.30pm - and watch how we hand-make our own feta, brie and blue Cheese on site. Modern equipment and loving care are combined to bring you stunning examples of your favourite Cheese styles. Check out our state-of-the-art maturing room and learn more about the aging process. You can sample some Te Mata Cheese specialities, all lovingly cared for in ideal conditions until they are ready for you to savour.
