It all began when Martin and Lisa together with their small family started the renovations on the little nondescript grey stucco house that used to be here at 536 6th Street in Courtenay. Like most renovations it all turned into a bigger job than what was originally planned and it took a whole eight months until we finally opened Titas Mexican Restaurant in April 2000. The crowds were eagerly waiting and started lining up outside our door. Since then we just keep getting busier and busier as word spreads. Our small family has grown and grown to encompass the fantastic bunch of cooks and servers and appreciative guests that have made Titas Mexican Restaurant the smashing success it is now!
