Welcome to Trattoria Luigi Restaurant. Luigi Vigliotti, the owner and chef, has a long history in this business. He learnt all the tricks of the trade in large well-known establishments like the Hilton and Sheraton hotels. He went on to open his first Restaurant in Brussels called "La Primavera".
Two years later he opened "Rossini". Luigi moved to South Africa and worked in a few well-known Restaurants in Johannesburg such as "Villa Borghese and Rugantino". He opened Trattoria Luigi in Braamfontein, which was an institution in Johannesburg.
Trattoria Luigi has been in Hout Bay for 9 years and has now ventured out into Camps Bay, where we are thrilled to have them as our resident Restaurant.
Trattoria Luigi serves authentic Italian cuisine, cooked with passion. The décor is simple yet very characteristic and nostalgic.
The atmosphere is lively and homely. You will hear the odd "Porco Cane" and pot hitting the wallâ?¦. But this is part of the Italian temperament coming throughâ?¦ at least you know itâ??s the real thing.
