The Weingut Bachkoenig in Rust, Austria welcomes you to their Winery for an exciting visit, the Winery has been family owned since 1880 and has over the years grown to 12 hectares of vineyards. They link tradition with new techniques to produce the wonderful wines that bring them success, and the highest standards apply when producing their vine juice. The Weingut Bachkoenig has an extensive variety with more than 10 different grape varieties, and the processing of the grapes is soil friendly, close to nature with no artificial use of fertilizer, and using greening between rows and only sprays that are beneficial to insects. They produce dry white wines, fruity red wines and excellent sweet wines, and after an optimal maturity in steel tanks or traditional wooden barrels, wines are bottled in order to continue to mature slowly.
