This is a great meeting place for expats and tourists alike, especially new comers to Pattaya who need a little advice from old stager's, there's always a good atmosphere and jokes abound, the rooms at this Guest House are clean tidy and very reasonable with good rates free wifi, a safe, all the amenities in working order, there is a good all day English breakfast and the main meals are tasty.
The huge bookshop and book exchange is a great idea and one of my loves about the place, I trade in my books and all books can be traded for 50% credit refund.

Jimmy White the snooker star is doing a book signing ?
Huh, as far as I can remember he never learned to read and write!

I have eaten at Canterbury Tales Cafe and the food is adequate and cheap but at I prefer Robin's Nest in soi Diana, its a little more expensive but far superior in my humble opinion and better presented than here. Hope this helps someone.
