Bo-Kaap
The Bo-Kaap is an area of Cape Town, South Africa formerly known as the Malay Quarter. It is quintessentially a Township, situated on the slopes of Signal Hill above the city centre and is an historical centre of Cape Malay culture in Cape Town.

Marco's African Place in Bo-Kaap, Cape Town, is located in a converted old warehouse that is painted a vibrant orange and black, and is now a spacious double storey restaurant with high ceilings and seating for up to 280 guests. There is even sufficient space for a dance floor and stage, and with a candle lit interior the restaurant has a romantic, yet homely atmosphere.
