Hong Kong is located in south China and consists of 4 parts: Hong Kong island, Kowloon Peninsula, the New Territories and 260 surrounding smaller islands. Hong Kong Island, only 80 square kilometres, is the heart of Hong Kong. It is separated from the mainland by a natural harbour.
