St Keverne

St Keverne is a village and parish with a long and fascinating history going way back to at least the Mesolithic period dating 5000BC. The village is located on the extreme south coast of Cornwall, on the Lizard Peninsula, England, United Kingdom around a central square with with shops, pubs and cottages, and many annual festivals are held here including the the Ox Roast, Carnival and Rodeo. St Keverne is rich in archeoglogical history and is just a mile inland from the coastal path and boasts the 15th century church of St. Akervnus. There are lakeside and woodland trails, many accommodation options, diving at the Manacles reef, beaches nearby, castles, museums, galleries and more to explore.
